There was a number of years ago a series in ME on the convesion of a mill to poly V belt, this allowed extra speeds to be fitted in the same space as the origional V pullies. There is also a mod for Myford lathes, also giving extra speeds. Longer belt life, and quieter, smoother running. Ian S C.

This idea of belt drive conversion, I am not familiar with the X2/X3 range of machines. Does anyone know of a set of parts or a drawing to enable a Warco WM16 mill to be converted?
